Nominations should include letters of support and will be evaluated on the following:
* Description
of career achievements, length and tenure of fundraising background, experience and results.
* Evidence of quality of
leadership that is effective, creative, and stimulating.
* Membership in AFP and evidence that the individual practices and
promotes the AFP Code of Ethical Principles and Standards for fundraising professionals.
* Description of individual's commitment to continuing professional development.
* Evidence of commitment
to fundraising and philanthropy through voluntary service and financialsupport ofnon-profit organizations.
* Evidence of "giving
back" to the fundraising community through workshops, trainings,
etc.

NOMINATION PROCESS
Please provide the AFP Lowcountry Chapter Awards Committee with a description of the specific achievements
accomplished through your nominee's efforts. Include
at least two statements supportingthe award criteria above. The Committee recommends collaborative nominations
- multiple organizations working together in support of a particular individual. Please be thorough but
succinct. Nominations must be submitted by current AFP members (with whom the Committee can communicate directly)
and must be complete by the deadline in order to receive consideration. Documentation in support of the
nominees/nominations may come from non-members.
